WhatInvoice ("we", "us") is an invoicing service operated by SANDZ, based in Cape Town, South Africa (www.sandz.co.za). By creating an account or using the service — including over WhatsApp — you agree to these terms. Contact: [email protected].
WhatInvoice turns your messages (typed or voice) into invoice and quotation documents, stores them for you, and can deliver them to your customers by email. It includes a web portal, optional teammate access, and optional extras such as a generated business website. Features vary by plan and may change as the product evolves.
You also warrant that you have the right to give us your customers' contact details for the purpose of delivering your documents to them, and that you won't use the service for spam, fraud, illegal goods or services, or documents intended to mislead.
Your documents and customer records are yours. You can export everything as a ZIP or permanently delete your account at any time in Settings. How we handle personal information is set out in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms — in particular fraud, spam, abuse of other users, or unlawful use. Where reasonable we'll warn you first. You may close your account at any time; deletion is immediate and permanent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits or lost business), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your statutory rights as a consumer under the South African Consumer Protection Act, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, or applicable US state law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the South African courts — except that if you are a consumer in the UK, USA or elsewhere, you keep any protections and local-court rights that your local law grants you and that cannot be waived by agreement.
We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes will be announced (WhatsApp or email) at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
